Operator Procedures

Fueling Aircraft

Please leave the aircraft at tabs when you are done flying. This will allow for the next crew to select the proper amount of fuel required for their mission. The Concord Regional Airport will do all fueling at the home base. If off base fueling is required please take extra caution as to not damage or over fill the aircraft. If cheaper fuel is available please take as much as safely possible, this will help us keep costs low.

Access to Aircraft

During business hours: The renter shall make arrangements ahead of time as to where (s)he would like to pick up the aircraft book. The ramp is the preferred location for convenience purposes.

After business hours: The renter shall make arrangements ahead of time as to where (s)he would like to pick up the aircraft book. The ramp is the preferred location for convenience purposes.

Returning the Aircraft

During business hours: The renter shall make arrangements ahead of time as to where (s)he would like to drop off the aircraft book. The ramp is the preferred location for convenience purposes.

After business hours: The renter shall make arrangements ahead of time as to where (s)he would like to drop off the aircraft book. The ramp is the preferred location for convenience purposes.

Getting Reimbursed if You Buy Fuel Elsewhere

There will be a Phillips 66 Fuel card located in the aircraft book for fuel purchases. This card is to be used for fuel and maintenance only. Ramp fees are the responsibility of the renter. For locations that do not accept the Phillips 66 card, fuel will be reimbursed at the current Concord (KJQF rate). Please keep all receipts.

Mechanical Problems at Another Airport

Any maintenance issue shall be addressed with the Chief Pilot / Director of Maintenance as soon as possible. The renter shall not authorize any work to be performed on the aircraft without consent from the Chief Pilot or Director of Maintenance.

Securing Aircraft

The aircraft is kept in the hangar whenever it is not being used. The aircraft will be moved from and to the hangar by VFC employee or Concord Regional Airport staff only. No renter shall attempt to move the aircraft to, from or around the hangar.

Caution areas where hangar rash is most likely

No renter shall attempt to move the aircraft to, from or around the hangar.

What fuel load to expect and how to change it

The aircraft should be at tabs when you arrive. This will allow for the crew to select the proper amount of fuel required for their mission. If you would like more fuel please call 704-920-5900 and ask for the amount of fuel required to be added (please wait until you are ready to fly to call for fuel, so not to over fill the plane for the pilots flying before you). Note (any fuel defuel from the aircraft will be at the renters expense + the defueling charge).
